Dark Expectation Blog Tour Guest Post

With Ani taking her place as queen, there are some enemies lurking she could never imagine! There's a secret compound in California that wants to know the secrets to making a vampire or werewolf. When they kidnap Ani during a trip back to California they might actually get what they want. Her sister Dana, her lover Diego and other vampires do everything they can to get her back. If they don't succeed, they face being controlled completely by the human race forever! Dark Expectations is the exciting sequel to Soul Sisters that's full of adventure, danger and what it means to be queen! *****Praise For Dark Expectations**** ......... overall it was well written, enough action to keep you gripped, entertaining and well-paced throughout. If you loved Soul Sisters then you won't be disappointed with Dark Expectations.

I admit, after reading and writing my favorite activity is getting caught up in my favorite TV shows. I watch everything from horror to comedy because there’s nothing like some fun TV to get caught up in at the end of a hard day! Here are my top 5 shows I can’t live with out in no particular order.

1.       The Walking Dead:  This one almost needs no explanation! It is one of the most watched television shows for a reason. The zombie violence is top notch but it is more about the relationship between the people that creates such an exciting series. It is often depressing and gut wrenching but it’s the shockingly great story telling that keeps me tuned in week after week.

2.       The Simpsons: I find The Family Guy and American Dad over the top and offensive but The Simpsons always has the perfect mix of outrageous humor! Can you believe my favorite character is baby Maggie who never says a word? That’s what I love about the show the most, they can make even a silent character hilarious. The Simpsons is the longest running animated series of all time and for there’s no question why! Every-time I need a good laugh, this is the show I watch.

3.       Face Off-:This reality show is only  a couple of years old but it is my favorite reality show because the creativity that goes on during that show is mind blowing! I really love the fact that they leave out the drama and just focuses on the contestants talent. The make-up work these artist do is inspiring and awesome. I try not to  miss a week of this show and it is the only reality show I watch!

4.       American Horror Story:  This is another show that hasn’t been on long but has broken so many taboos on television. I love the dark realms this shows delves into.  the twists and turns this shows throws out every week is mind blowing. At the end of every season, I’m going through withdrawal! If you’re open minded and like darker television show this one is for you! I always watch it live because I’m dying to know what happens next!

5.       The Twilight Zone: Yes, this show is front the 60’s but it is one of the reasons I’ve become a writer! Rod Sterling was a brilliant writer and the stories he wrote changed the tales told on television forever! Like American Horror Story (but way more tamed), the stories told on The Twilight Zone are shocking, twist filled and well thought out. I own the entire Twilight Zone Collection and pull it out anytime I need some inspiration. This is truly my favorite TV show of all time!

See readers, we authors do have some time (as small as it  maybe to) watch some decent TV. Are any of these shows your favorite and what shows do you never miss an episode of?
