I didn't read it. I felt like the movie was enjoyable but not great (my expectations were low so it actually exceeded them)

The movie was disappointing too IMHO, so I'm not surprised the book didn't live up to the hype. Thanks for becoming a follower of my site. I'm now following you back via GFC and wish you lots of great reading in the future.

I also had no idea, that the movie was based on a book! But I'm not surprised it wasn't as good as said. Retellings usually tend not to be. Will safely skip it now ^^

I never read this book... but I did see the movie, and it was awful.

Christine Stewart is a very over-rated actress, and the movie totally wasted all the comic talent they had in the dwarves. -_-
Chris Hemsworth was pretty, though :P

I have't read the book, but I thought the movie was over hyped. K. Stewart especially. Theron was good as was Hemsworth.
