Hello, everyone! Thank you to Nikki for having me here today on her wonderful blog!!

Allow me to give you my STATS:

Name: Cambria Hebert

Occupation: Fairy Godmother --- Kidding! I’m an author

Favorite color: Orange (like a pumpkin)

Favorite food: Coffee

Height: 5’2

Weight: Yeah right, I’m not telling you!

Pet Peeve: (I’ll choose only one today, lol) When the food on my plate touches. (EW!!!!)

Now that you know all about me… well, okay you know some stuff. Let me tell you some more! HA HA HA.

I’m here today at the request of our lovely hostess to talk to you a bit about writing and my series. I write the Heven and Hell series (pictured above) and it is a YA paranormal series.

Most people want to know what the series is about and the idea behind it (it is unique!) and this is the answer:

This series is a YA paranormal and is about Heven, a girl who is horribly disfigured and can’t remember the accident that left her that way. She pretty much wakes up in the hospital with the left side of her face destroyed… along with all of her confidence.  She pretty much goes into hiding until a new guy in town comes along and things get interesting…

I came up with the idea for this series while I was walking through Barnes and Noble drinking a Starbucks and I thought “I want to write a book about a girl who thinks she’s ugly and has a disfigurement.” Then I started wondering how she got disfigured…. And the story grew from there.

Favorite thing about the series:

My favorite thing about Masquerade and this series is the twists and turns that the story takes. The characters really grow and change and so does their story… I think that it makes it an unpredictable read at times because I think that people expect something when they are coming in and they get something completely different.

My favorite scenes in the books are usually the scenes when it’s just Heven and Sam. Their relationship is really special and they relate to one another in a way I think is really sweet and romantic. They have a pretty good first kiss too. J

I also have a new favorite coming your way in Tirade. You will meet Riley (he was briefly in Masquerade) and he has just grown on me in a way I can’t really explain, other than when I think of him I smile. He is the best bad boy in town. LOL!!

If you haven’t had the chance to read this series, I hope you do and that you like it. If you have read it I hope you enjoy Tirade and Bewitched (the newest releases coming soon!)

Thanks so much to Nikki for having me here today!

Great post, Cambria! One of my favorite things about your books is Sam's and Heven's relationship as well. I love how they relate to each other (just as you said). and yes, it was a great first kiss!
